Sean Morris !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - though I still wonder if it's by year or month AND year.
And to Cali residents (who didn't get one during the Motorex days) good luck, because there's one more obstacle in the way.

I still hope my friend's bro brings his R32 over next year as soon as possible!

It's by year and month. You can't import and register a GTR until August but the GTS-T should be fine to import in May.

"can't"
You could always slip it in now, and just pray....
But I already have stomach ulcers.

You can always import it and just store it in a discrete garage.

yeah, I know a few people around here that do that. And a few more that drive them.

Forget the prices on any of these soon to be legal JDM rides, I'd get into the parts business. Think about how hard it's going to be to get a timing belt, ball joint, and other random assorted items for these cars... Methinks a market is emerging.

Reminder: you can import all the R33s you want. MotoREX did succeed in federalizing them, while failing at everything else.

idk, it seems pretty easy to come by parts. There is still an aftermarket for these cars, plus theyve been shipping boatloads of front clips, and assorted cutlets of parts over here for years.
Its those fancy, oem nissan accessory parts that will give you the mad money.

The aftermarket yeah, I've just heard from numerous people that regular maintenance items are MUCH harder. For instance, many of the 3.0L NSX parts are no longer available from Honda at all, only the inventory that remains. When people do start importing these and potentially in any significant volumes they'll surely (or at least SHOULD) be performing all basic maintenance. Those items will not be that easy to come by.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall reading that Nissan USA dealerships will not even let you/cannot order pre-R35 GTR parts. So if nothing else you may need to speak Japanese...
